"What have I gotten myself into?" As we trained long course, at Petaluma, this morning, the prior phrase was used quite a bit. Long course will do that to you! I swear the pool is a tad long(ie.15 meters), but Warren swears it feels a bit short. Guess which one of us was swimming butterfly.Long course or not, we are all headed to Perth in just over a week. My taper is in full bloom. Late to get in the pool, and early to get out. Above is a picture of our World Champ participants. Starting from the left: Warren Schenstrom, Joe Dunn (behind th infamous Lion Water Fountain), Norm Stumpfel(Standing in for Mali), and yours truly. We have PMS Champs in a week. Some of us opted out, but others will participate in a limited capacity. It's for the team!
