Things are moving very fast down here. We are in a moment of pause, while waiting for Joe's 50m fly. There have techincal difficulties for us, things we take for granted in the States.
My 800m free was evenly split at 5:00 and 5:02. That was with a midnight hour body time clock. We are still waking up in the middle of the night here - good to go! Jim was right, I can't wait to swim that race on famaliar ground.
Mali had a get comment after the race. We were sharing experiences about the new driving conditions. She said that they had the cleanest wind shield in town. I laughed, because of the inside joke. The windshild wiper control is the left hand side. The turn signal control is on the right hand side. I can't tell you how many times I have turned on the wiper blades, while making a turn!
My 100m free time was a personal best - by four tenths! We are knocking at the door of breaking a minute. I swam the same heat as Jim Montgomery and Rich Abbott, two phenonminal swimmers - even though I get slaughtered.
It is kind of strange, we have traveled thousands of miles and see many of the same thing at home. Kmart, Woolworths, Burger King (aka Hungry Jack). The world has become a corporation.
Will make another post soon......

wow - you guys are awesome. thanks for keeping us posted.
Hello Joe, Mali, John, Warren
Thank you for the long distance thrills. As a Blackberry addict, I now have one more reason to wake up in the middle of the night to look at my blog update.
Great swims! Great photos. We are proud of you guys! Paco
Three events and three medals--I think that's what they call batting 1000!(Can you tell I'm in Little League mode?) I hope you left room in your luggage for all the extra souvenirs you're accumulating! And I hope your bag is on wheels--by the looks of things, even you might strain those big shoulders of yours! Congrats on the great results and best times. I guess this shows that you guys might really know what you are doing with our training. Does this mean we will still have to listen to you, and do what you say without whining??? Naahhh...
You are the best! Congrats on all the great swims and not being electrocuted in the 800m free. Thank you for posting pictures and letting us live vicariously through you. Guys, give Mali a big kissie for me.
Lana read two of the four questions at Passover and did a great job negotiating for a price for the Afikomen--$2 each for Allegra and her.

Hi Mommy, It's Lana I miss you (not Joe) call me!
Love Lana
As dictated from Jeff: "Hey Warren, make sure to beat on the rental car and practice your burnouts!!"
Great to hear all the updates. Congrats to everyone competing down under!
Love,
Erin, Jeff and Lucy (the dog, who is wishing she could be swimming right now) too!!
Keep up the great swimming! Any time for sightseeing? I saw the beach photo and you look happy, Warren. Live it up all of you!
ps Hermine has cleared out the glass display case for all of your medals--keep them coming.
Wow- you all are amazing. I'm so happy for you seeing your hard work pay off. It will be interesting to see the team standings the way you keep racking up the points. FYI- Petaluma was 68 yesterday- a great temp to prep for open water season!
